Estas son las fotografías vencedoras del certamen Street Photography Awards 2019 de LensCulture

Un año más, la plataforma Lens Culture ha anunciado quiénes son los premiados de sus Street Photography Awards, el popular concurso dedicado a la fotografía de calle que este año cumple 40 ediciones con la misión de descubrir a los fotógrafos que definen hoy día el género de la fotografía callejera.

39 fotógrafos de 20 paises distintos (este año no facilitan datos de participación) han sido los afortunados por “su notable trabajo y su innegable talento para capturar la vida a medida que se desarrolla gracias a su mirada cuidadosa, sus habilidades técnicas y una visión creativa sólida”. Todo ello en dos categorías principales, ‘Series’ y ‘Single Images’, que premian un cuerpo de fotos o una única imagen impactante.

Entre los ganadores, tenemos al turco Sevil Alkan con ‘Stray Dog’ en la categoría de series mientras que en imágenes únicas el ganador es el iraní Nosrat Jafari con la foto ‘Remember Me’ que, por cierto, fue hecha con un iPhone. Además de los ganadores de ambas categorías, cada miembro del jurado elige a un finalista, y esta vez uno de ellos es la japonesa Yoko Ishi con sus fotos de ciervos por la ciudad que os mostrábamos hace muy poco.

Estas son las imágenes ganadoras del certamen BigPicture: Natural World Photography 2019, concurso de fotografía de naturaleza

Tal y como ocurrió el año pasado, lamentablemente no hay ningún español entre los ganadores, aunque sí tenemos algunos finalistas. Por ejemplo a Carlos Prieto con su serie ‘Marrakech Medina’, Ignasi Raventóscon su trabajo ‘Yellow in Catalonia Streets’ y Álvaro Trincado Fernández, con su colección ‘Un_accompanied’. Además, también hay que hacer mención de la francesa afincada en Barcelona (que la web atribuye como española) Céline Pannetier por la foto que tenéis abajo (y que es un homenaje accidental a Magritte).
